Additionally, flex-time courses have five written assignments and five online tests whereas semester courses have seven written assignments. Both course options are approved for post-baccalaureate (graduate) credit through UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies. The main difference between the two options is that you can take up to one year to complete a flex course, whereas you must be finished by the end of the semester for a semester course. Course content is identical between flex courses and semester courses. PDI offers two course format options: flex-time courses and semester courses. You have up to one year to complete a flex course.
